April ride report
We had ten riders on Sunday for the April Moreland BUG ride exploring Moreland.
We met at Clifton Park in Victoria St, Brunswick and rode out along the Moonee Ponds bike path as far as Ohea St in Pascoe Vale.
Along the way, Sean showed us the big dipper and the braver riders took their bikes for a fast spin…
From Pascoe Vale, we headed north-east along the bike path that connects Austin Crescent Reserve with Joyce Reserve (following the Westbreen Creek).
We then followed Kent Rd to Merlynston, in search of coffee, only to discover that the cafe at Merlynston is only open until 1pm. Foiled!
So we headed south along the Upfield bike path to Balha's in Sydney Rd for gelati, lattes and yummy yummy pastries before calling it a day.
