As you know, Moreland BUG’s inaugural AGM will be held this Thursday 22nd November in the back room of Caffe Mingo, 600 Sydney Rd, Brunswick from 7:30pm.
Following the AGM we will stick around for a few drinks/hot chocolates, as this will be our LAST MEETING OF THE YEAR – there is a distinct possibility that this part of the evening will take place in a nearby pub .
Please join us, and if you were thinking about nominating for a position on the Committee of Management the ordinary member positions are still up for grabs – because we didn’t receive any nominations for them by 12th Nov, you can simply put your hand up on the night if you wish.No comments
A final reminder that this Sunday 11th Nov is Walk Against Warming day!!
Moreland residents and friends of Moreland are invited to meet at either the Brunswick Town Hall or Victoria Mall, Coburg at 12pm on the day to travel in to the city together as a community.
From those meeting points, groups will be travelling in by train, tram and bike so you can choose whichever suits you.
Once in the city we will gather outside Melbourne Central Station on Elizabeth St and walk up together to join the crowd at the State Library.
If you prefer to go straight there, the main event starts at the State Library at 1pm and will walk to the Alexandra Gardens for festivities etc.
See you there!
